Our latest addition to the team is Dipti Tiwari. Coming from India, Dipti arrives at the best moment to enjoy the colours of autumn in the Eastern Townships!
Her area of expertise includes hydrological modeling, climate and land-use changes and their effect on watershed hydrology, prediction in ungauged basins, regional frequency analysis of extreme rainfall and flood events, surface and ground water hydrology and remote sensing.
As part of the research chair, she will focus on quantifying the effect of using different scales of snow observations in a hydrological model in order to increase flood forecasting acuracy during the snowmelt period. Welcome to the group, Dipti!
